This weekly course teaches important principles and fundamentals of art for various levels. This is the beginning of a student’s journey to learning how to draw realistically.

Every project introduces different artistic mediums including drawing, painting, mixed media, sculpture, and beyond so students gain hands-on experience and confidence across multiple forms of art.

This is an ongoing class and students can join anytime. Important art concepts are repeated every 2 months, each time associated with a new theme and project.

Tina and Julie both grew up in the Bay Area with a deep love for art, later continuing their studies at ArtCenter College of Design and Parsons School of Design in New York.

Tina grew up at Lei’s Art Studio and brings over 15 years of experience in animation, games, and tech into her teaching, blending strong fundamentals with storytelling and encouragement. Julie, after working in ready-to-wear fashion design in Korea, brings a thoughtful eye for design and loves helping students explore their creativity with confidence.

Together, they are passionate about creating a supportive space where students can build skills, grow artistically, and enjoy the process of making art.
